Dr. Laura Sterni received her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She also completed her residency in pediatrics and her fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Sterni is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include pediatric pulmonary medicine and sleep disorders. She is Director of the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Sleep Center. She has been recognized by Baltimore Magazine as a Top Doc in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine and Pediatric Sleep Medicine for many years.
Dr. Sterni has published numerous peer-reviewed journals articles, contributed to guidelines, and wrote several chapters in textbooks. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Pediatrics Assembly of the American Thoracic Society. Dr. Sterni is an active member of the Maryland Sleep Society and presented at our annual meetings.
