Dr. Collen is a Sleep Medicine physician at the Uniformed Services University and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He has been the program director for their Sleep Medicine Fellowship program for 7 years. Dr. Collen graduated with a BS in Biology from the University of California at Riverside in 1998 and then attended the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, graduating with an MD in 2002. He did his Residency training in Internal Medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and Fellowships in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Walter Reed in Bethesda, graduating in 2013. He is ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He has worked as an Army physician in San Antonio, Texas, Germany, Iraq, Afghanistan, and has been in Bethesda since 2015.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in Potomac, MD.
